Elementary Teacher
The Kirbyville R-VI School District, a K-8 district committed to small class sizes and operating on a four-day school week calendar, seeks an elementary teacher for the 2026-2027 school year with a positive caring attitude to join our Professional Learning Community. Collaboration and teamwork are key attributes. The ideal candidate displays patience and enthusiasm, consistency in classroom management, the ability to nurture readers using a comprehensive literacy framework and the ability to engage learners across the curriculum using inquiry-based methods. The teacher will use assessment for learning and integrate technology (including interactive boards and Chromebooks) into instruction. Extra and Co-curricular duties may accompany this position.
